Fabric Care

Thoughtful care helps preserve the softness, drape, color, and shape of your DrifWoo favorites. Always follow the care label sewn into the garment and any instructions on the individual product page, as construction and fabric blends may vary by style.

Everyday Care Essentials

  • Wash with similar colors in cold water on a gentle cycle.
  • Use a mild detergent and do not bleach.
  • Avoid overloading the washer and remove items promptly after washing.
  • Use low heat only when the care label permits it.

Modal & Stretch Modal

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, preferably in a laundry bag. Do not bleach or wring. Lay flat or hang to dry to help protect softness, stretch, and shape. Use a cool iron only if needed and permitted by the care label.

Viscose

Machine wash cold with a gentle cycle. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low, cool iron as needed, and remove promptly after washing. Wash separately from rough items that may catch or abrade the fabric.

Cotton & Cotton Double Gauze

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low or air dry according to the care label. Double gauze has a naturally soft, lightly crinkled texture; reshape while damp and use a cool iron only if a smoother finish is preferred.

Bamboo-Cotton Blends

Wash cold on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Do not bleach. Air dry or tumble dry low when permitted by the care label. Remove promptly and avoid high heat to help maintain the fabric’s soft hand and relaxed drape.

Polyester, Plush & Fleece Styles

Turn the item inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle unless the label directs otherwise. Do not bleach. Air dry or tumble dry low. Keep away from high heat, which may affect the surface texture and shape.

Built-In Bra Styles

Place the garment in a laundry bag and use a gentle cycle. Do not twist or wring the integrated cup area. After washing, gently reshape the bust area and lay flat or hang to dry. Avoid high heat to help preserve stretch and cup shape.

Slippers & Accessories

Care varies by upper material, lining, sole, and construction. Follow the product page and attached care label. Unless the item is specifically marked machine washable, spot clean with a soft damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry naturally away from direct heat.

A Note About Natural Variations

Minor changes in texture after washing can be natural, especially in viscose, cotton, and double-gauze fabrics. Washing cold, reshaping while damp, and avoiding excess heat will help your pieces retain their intended feel and silhouette.
